The HANDLE project was presented to the visitors of the exhibition of the ICT2010 event held in Brussels from the 27 to the 29 of September. The coordinator and other researchers from the universities “Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris” and Carlos III of Madrid staffed the HANDLE project stand to explain to the public the scientific and technical objectives of the project and show some results obtained through live demonstration. The first project prototype composed of a robotic arm and hand was exhibited and used demonstrate the dexterous motion of the setup. Leaflets, a poster and video shows were used to demonstrate other aspects and research results of the project. 

It is worth noting that the projects present at the exhibition have been selected by the ICT 2010 organizers after evaluation of the proposal submitted by the exhibitors.

The ICT 2010 event also included a three days conference dedicated to the themes:  “Powering our sustainable future” and “The human face of the digital age”
